Job Type: Full-Time
Jim Dorsey & Son is looking for a seasoned and motivated HVAC Installer or a wicked good apprentice.
Are you an HVAC professional looking to join a reputable and growing company?
We are actively seeking a skilled HVAC Installer with experience in:
- Ductless Mini Splits
- Heat Pumps
- Furnaces
- Air Handlers
- Boilers (Steam & Forced Hot Water)
- Sheet Metal Fabrication & Installation
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will have:
- Valid Sheet Metal License (Oil Burner, Gas, and/or Plumbing license is a plus)
- 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and safety protocols
- Professional attitude, commitment to quality work, and ability to run a job preplanned with you

Journeyman Plumber (Residential / Commercial Service)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $35–$48+/hr. plus Performance Incentives

Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
- Install water heaters, fixtures, pumps, valves, and drainage lines.
- Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and company standards.
- Guide and mentor plumbing apprentices on-site.
Job Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License in the state of MA
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience (including apprenticeship)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficient problem-solving skills and an excellent customer-service attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
HVAC Service Technician
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, providing excellent customer service, and taking pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
- Clearly explain repair recommendations to customers
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every call
Qualifications
- Experience servicing residential HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional appearance and communication
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- EPA Certification preferred
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required—we’ll provide training for the right candidate
Plumbing Service Technician
We’re seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician who is dependable, customer-focused, and committed to delivering quality work.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems
- Install and replace plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Explain repair options to homeowners
- Complete service reports accurately
